The Lord’s Mandate

Love God & Love people
(Matthew 22—The Great Commandment & Matthew 28—The Great Commission)

Our Vision

To become a biblically functioning family that expresses the heart of God to the people in our community.

Our Mission

We build up one another in God’s truth and love to impact Christ to the lives of people
whom God places around us.

Our Core Values

Our church and its ministries are guided and shaped by eight Biblical principles that never change. These principles, or “core values”, are as constant as the four points of the compass. We hold these principles passionately, and we stake our entire work for God upon them.

God’s Word

God has given His Word, the Bible, to us as our foundation and guide for living. Therefore, we are committed to powerful Biblical teaching as the catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and in the church.
(2Timothy 3:16-17)

Prayer

God desires His people to pray, and He hears and answers prayer. Therefore, we are committed to leading our people to seek God with all their hearts, both corporately and individually.
(Colossians 4:2)

Living by Faith

God is faithful, and He calls His people to trust Him and follow Him as He leads. Therefore, we are committed to acting on the revealed will and Word of God, regardless of the circumstances or consequences.
(Hebrews 11:6)

Biblical Community

God intends for strong, loving relationships to permeate every aspect of the church. Therefore, we are committed to going deep in relationships and serving one another with the attitude modeled for us by Jesus Christ.
(Philippians 2:2-5)

Spiritual Development

God has placed in every true believer a desire to grow spiritually. Therefore, we are committed to helping individuals identify and take the next step toward maturity in Christ.
(Colossians 1:28-29)

Worship

God delights in genuine worship that honors Him and witnesses to a lost world. Therefore, we are committed to leading our people to worship God with clear minds and thankful hearts.
(John 4:23)

Spirit-Directed Leadership

God has chosen to work through leaders to equip His people for the task of ministry. Therefore, we are committed to developing, mobilizing and following leaders that are gifted and directed by the Spirit of God.
(Ephesians 4:11-12)

People

God loves people and so should the church. Therefore, we are committed to reaching people in our city, our state, our country and the world with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16)
